Passionfruit is called Maracuya in Columbia, and Lilikoi in Hawaii

Passionfruit originated in Brazil.
There are 350 species of passionfruit. There are Banana, Common &
Yellow.

PRESERVING PASSIONFRUIT Beth Steele,

600mls passionfruit pulp, 4 level tblspns castor sugar, 1/8 level tspn
or 4 grains Potassium metabisulphate or ¼ level tspn or 7 grains Benzoice acid

Stir in castor sugar into passionfruit pulp until castor sugar is
dissolved. Add Benzoice acid or
Potassium metabisulphate and stir well.
Pour into a clean sterilized jar, screw on clean plastic or glass
lid. Store in refrigerator and use as
required for desserts, topping and flavouring.

2 cups passionfruit pulp, 2 cups castor sugar, ¼ tspn salicylic acid 7

Stir passionfruit
pulp, castor sugar and salicylic acid until sugar dissolved. Bottle
and keep in refrigerator.

Friday Freebie – Zucchini Herb Garden and Lemon Pasta

Gooday this today Friday Free Recipe including Zucchinis and lermons which are now in abundance

HERB GARDEN and LEMON PASTA

225 grams uncooked pasta,
1/3 cup vegetable oil, 3 cups sliced zucchinis, 1 cup red onion chopped, ¼ cup
Parmesan cheese grated, ¼ cup fresh basil chopped, ¼ cup fresh chives chopped,
¼ cup fresh parsley chopped, 2 ripe tomatoes wedges, ½ tspn salt, ½ tspn
pepper, 2 tblspns lemon juice

Cook pasta,
drain. Meanwhile, in 25cm skillet heat
oil, add zucchini and onion. Cook over
medium heat, stirring occasionally until zucchini is crisply tender 5-7
minutes. Add remaining ingredients and
pasta. Cover, let stand 2 minutes or
until tomatoes are heated through.
